About Mossy Path Life Coaching
Life doesn’t always unfold in straight lines. Sometimes the path feels overgrown, unclear, or quietly asking for a pause. Mossy Path Life Coaching exists for those moments—when you sense a desire for change, clarity, or deeper alignment. I offer a coaching partnership that is grounded, relational, and client-centered. Here you are supported as the expert in your own life, given space to slow down, notice what matters, and choose your next steps with intention.

About Jen Thompson (she/ her)
Hi, I’m Jen Thompson (she/ her) - A certified Life Coach and the founder of Mossy Path Life Coaching.

I come to this work through many seasons of personal transition, including navigating life after unhealthy and abusive relationships and the realities of single parenting. I am also a parent to neurodivergent and transgender children, experiences that have deepened my understanding of advocacy, adaptability, and the importance of spaces where people feel seen, supported, and respected for who they are. Through my own therapeutic journey, I came to understand and embrace my neurodivergence and how my nervous system and creativity shape the way I experience the world. This awareness clarified a long-standing calling to support others as they move through uncertainty, transition, and personal redefinition—with empathy, compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique ways of being.

My background includes administrative work, interior design, carpentry, and set design, and I continue to be involved in local theatre productions. Working with both clients and peers has helped shape how I understand alignment and intention—that both our inner and outer environments influence how we feel, move, and make meaning. That perspective now informs my coaching, where I support clients in thoughtfully redesigning their lives in ways that feel aligned, sustainable and true.

Time spent in nature—especially hiking—grounds both my life and my work. Nature offers rhythm, perspective, and balance, reinforcing my belief that growth doesn’t come from force, but from steadiness, connection, and listening inward.

My Coaching Style
My Philosophy
Coaching at Mossy Path is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in lived experience.
I believe:
-
Growth happens in seasons
-
Awareness comes before change
-
The body holds valuable information
-
Neurodivergent experiences deserve adaptive support
-
Emotional safety is essential for transformation
-
Alignment is ongoing, not fixed
My Approach
Life coaching is a collaborative partnership and is reflective rather than directive, forward-focused while honoring lived experience, and paced to meet you where you are. My coaching approach is body-centered, neurodivergent-aware, and trauma-informed.
Coaching sessions emphasize:
-
Self-awareness and clarity
-
Values-based decision making
-
Gentle accountability and intentional action
-
Curiosity over judgment
-
Trust in your inner knowing
Rather than offering advice or solutions, coaching invites thoughtful inquiry, pattern-noticing, and meaningful reflection—supporting you to uncover your own answers and move forward in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.

My Coaching Process
As a life coach, my role isn’t to tell you what to do, who to become, or how to get there. I believe you are the expert in your own life and my expertise can support your decisions to identify and reach your life goals by offering unbiased, reflection, questions and observations to help you discover your path. Life coaching is a client- led, collaborative partnering process.
My role is to hold space and walk alongside you as you:
-
Explore identity shifts and life transitions
-
Notice patterns with curiosity
-
Become aware of your limiting beliefs
-
Reconnect with your true meaning and values
-
Set clear, attainable goals
-
Move forward in ways that feel honest and sustainable
My life coaching process draws from somatic awareness, nature-based practices, and trauma-informed principles—while honoring each person’s unique way of thinking, feeling, and processing.
